Before using the Control Panel, there a few configurations that must be set, such as password, as well as a number of optional features that may be set at your discretion. The following contains information regarding these configurations along with general information regarding use of the Control Panel.
Activating a Control Panel Account
Nuvei Payment Support Team team provides you with an account when setting up your payment page configuration. Once the account is established, a confirmation email is sent to the specific user for activation.
To activate a Control Panel account:
- Open the hyperlink in the email sent from the Nuvei Payment Support Team team and the password selection screen appears.
- Select your desired new password, re-type it in the designated areas, and press Save. The dashboard screen appears.
If you need additional accounts, your Account Administrator must send a request to Nuvei Payment Support Team through the Control Panel.
Logging in to Control Panel
Once your account has been set up, you can access the Nuvei Control Panel either using a password and two-factor authentication (2FA) or using Single Sign On (SSO).
Password and 2FA
To log in to Control Panel with password and 2FA:
- Open your Internet browser and enter the URL for the Control Panel login page in the address box: https://cpanel.nuvei.com.
- Enter your user name and password in the Login ID and Password fields.
- Enter the CAPTCHA code from the Verification window in the field Enter the code shown above.
- Press Login or press Enter on your keyboard. The Control Panel Dashboard is displayed.
Single Sign-On (SSO)
The Control Panel supports SSO through the SAML protocol, enabling seamless authentication for users. While we currently offer integration with Okta, we also support other identity providers that utilize SAML. This flexibility allows merchants to easily create and configure applications within their chosen identity provider’s environment, facilitating a secure and efficient login experience. With our SAML support, users can benefit from streamlined access while maintaining robust security protocols.
Notes on Okta Login
Once a Merchant logs in with Okta, they can log in to the Control Panel, as well as launch any of their assigned app integrations to access external applications and services without having to re-enter their credentials.
If a Merchant chooses to use Okta, then all their users must use Okta; there cannot be mixed users (Okta and password).
Merchants who use Okta have a different view for My Profile and Team Management:
- My Profile:
- The Two-Factor Authentication and Change Password areas are disabled.
- Team Management:
- The Reset Password option is disabled.
- The Blocked by 2FA column is empty.
- The Invite New User button indicates “Enabled SSO”.
A Merchant cannot activate Okta if one of their users has multiple accounts with the same email address.
