Overview
The right side of the Navigation Bar at the top of the page contains links to various menus related to your account. Here, you can change the language setting, open the Nuvei Help Center, contact Nuvei Payment Support Team, manage account notifications, and manage your profile.
Viewing your Login Details
Hover over to view your current login details.
Viewing My Profile
Hover over and select My Profile to view your profile. Here you can set up your two-step authentication, change your password, set your time zone, set your default merchant site, and set the default manner of initiating refunds – with or without ClientUniqueID pre-populated.
Changing Your Password
From the Account Details pop-up menu, you can update your account password and language setting at any time.
The password must contain at least seven characters and must consist of at least two of the following:
- Upper case letters
- Lower case letters
- Digits (symbols are optional)
To change your password:
- In the Navigation Bar, hover over and select My Profile. The My Profile screen appears.
- Enter your current password in the Type old password field in the Change Password section.
- Enter your new password in the Type new password field and the Retype new password field.
- Press Save to update your account password.
Setting the Time Zone
The Control Panel allows users to adjust the time zone for their multi-client’s accounts. All actions taken on the Control Panel appear in the newly set time zone.
To set the time zone:
- In the Navigation Bar, hover over and select My Profile. The My Profile screen appears.
- In the Time Zone section, select the desired region/time zone from the dropdown.
- Press Save and a confirmation appears at the top of the screen.
Other Settings
Setting the Default Merchant Site
You can set which merchant site appears by default in certain report searches.
To set your default merchant site:
- In the Navigation Bar, hover over and select My Profile. The My Profile screen appears.
- In the Other Settings section, select your default merchant site from the dropdown.
- Press Save and a confirmation appears at the top of the screen.
Setting a Homepage
You can set your default homepage for the Control Panel.
To set your homepage:
- In the Navigation Bar, hover over and select My Profile. The My Profile screen appears.
- In the Other Settings section, select your default homepage from the dropdown.
- Press Save and a confirmation appears at the top of the screen.
Setting a Language
You can set the language for notifications and UI labels. Currently, English and French are supported.
To set the language:
- In the Navigation Bar, hover over and select My Profile. The My Profile screen appears.
- In the Other Settings section, select the language from the dropdown.
- Press Save and a confirmation appears at the top of the screen.
Refunds with ClientUniqueID
When this feature is enabled, the ClientUniqueID parameter is auto-populated by default when performing a refund as part of a Transaction Search.
To set your ClientUniqueID preference:
- In the Navigation Bar, hover over and select My Profile. The My Profile screen appears.
- In the Other Settings section, toggle the feature on or off.
- Press Save and a confirmation appears at the top of the screen.
Two-Factor Authentication
Two-factor authentication (2FA) increases the level of security when logging in to the Control Panel. In addition to providing your account password, you must enter a 6-digit numeric key generated by the Google or Microsoft Authenticator app. However, you must first set up your account for initial use.
Initial Setup

- Go to the Control Panel login page.
- Enter your login credentials.
- Go to the My Profile page.
- Download the Google or Microsoft Authenticator app.
- Select to either scan the QR code or enter the numeric key displayed below the QR code.
If you wish to manually enter the setup key, you must also enter your username in the Account name field.
This step links the GA app to your Control Panel account. - Enter the 6-digit numeric key generated by the app and press Verify.
Setup after Registration Date Has Passed

- Download the Google or Microsoft Authenticator app.
- Select to either scan the QR code or enter the numeric key displayed below the QR code.
If you wish to manually enter the setup key, you must also enter your username in the Account name field.
This step links the GA app to your Control Panel account. - Enter the 6-digit numeric key generated by the app and press Verify.
- Download the Google or Microsoft Authenticator app.
Login with 2FA
Once you’ve paired your mobile device with your Control Panel account, you need to use the two-factor authentication each time you log in to your account.
- Go to the Control Panel login page.
- Enter your login credentials and press Next.
- Open the Google or Microsoft Authenticator app.
- Enter the 6-digit numeric key generated by the app and press Verify.
Signing out of the Control Panel
The Control Panel automatically logs you out after 30 minutes of inactivity. To log out manually, hover over on the Navigation Bar and select Sign Out.
Notifications
The Notification icon on the upper right-hand of each screen in the Control Panel displays the amount of notifications available for the user to view. These notifications update the user regarding new versions, recent activity, etc. Press the icon to view and manage notifications.
Give Us Feedback
Press the Give us feedback button to open a window where merchants can send us feedback for product issues. This feedback helps the Nuvei’s Product Team to improve our products and features. The Product Team reviews the feedback and prioritizes it accordingly.
