This menu item allows merchants to supply their customers with two payment options:
- A secure QR link (code) that allows merchants to supply their customers with a secure one-time URL link to a payment page to complete their purchase.
- A payment page, also known as the Virtual Point of Sale (POS) feature that enables merchants to process transaction by entering their customers’ payment details manually into the Control Panel to collect payment.
QR Link
This solution is ideal for merchants that do not have a user interface that can collect their customers’ transaction details. By using the QR link feature, you can enter the transaction details of a desired transaction to produce a URL link to a payment page, which can be used by your customers to collect their payment information.
To use the QR Link feature:
- From the Menu bar, press Operations > Paylink.
- From the Merchant site dropdown, select the relevant merchant.
If you have selected a default merchant (see Setting the Default Merchant Site), it appears in the Merchant Site dropdown.
The screen displays two options: QR Link or Payment Page. - [Optional] Press Show All to display additional fields to be populated.
- With the QR Link radio button selected, enter a name for the User Token ID (this parameter uniquely identifies your consumer/user in your system):
- To add a new User Token ID, press Add New User Token ID just to the right of the User Token ID dropdown. The merchant must enter the new user details.
- To use an existing User Token ID, press Select from Existing List and then select a User Token ID from the dropdown. The fields with the user’s details are populated.
- Enter all (remaining) requested information in the form.
- Press Generate QR Link. The newly created URL link appears to the right of the form.
- Save/share the QR code or copy/share the URL link, and send the link information to your merchant by email.
The customer can then open the link and enter the payment details (credit card or APM) to complete the transaction. You are notified by Nuvei that the payment has been approved or declined.
Payment Page
This solution is ideal for merchants that receive their customers’ payment details via telephone. The customer’s payment details are sent directly and securely to Nuvei, which then processes the transaction for the merchant.
To use the Payment Page feature:
- From the Menu bar, press Operations > Paylink.
- From the Merchant site dropdown, select the relevant merchant.
If you have selected a default merchant (see Setting the Default Merchant Site), it appears in the Merchant Site dropdown.

- Select the Payment Page radio button.
- Enter a name for the User Token ID (this parameter uniquely identifies your consumer/user in your system):
- To add a new User Token ID, press Add New User Token ID just to the right of the User Token ID dropdown.
- To use an existing User Token ID, press Select from Existing List and then select a User Token ID from the dropdown.
- Enter all (remaining) requested information in the form.
- Press Generate Payment Page. The newly created payment page appears to the right of the form with the necessary Payment Information fields.
- Enter the transaction’s payment details and select Deposit. The funds are transferred to Nuvei.
