Introduction

Nuvei’s marketplaces solution combines Nuvei acquiring services with Nuvei for Platforms to provide seller onboarding, split funding, and payouts. You process customer payments through Nuvei acquiring and Nuvei for Platforms manages how funds are split between your marketplace and your sellers, keeps track of balances, and compliantly pays out funds.

Onboarding and KYC

Onboard your shops and sellers in Nuvei’s KYC system to enable them to receive funds. Each seller is created as an account holder and linked to your main marketplace account. Nuvei performs KYC checks before payouts can be made.

Payment Processing

Nuvei authorizes and processes payments (cards and alternative payment methods) for orders that may involve multiple sellers. These payments are later reconciled and made available for splitting and payout via Nuvei for Platforms.

Payment Distribution and Settlement

For each transaction, you define how funds should be split between your marketplace and participating sellers. Nuvei for Platforms reconciles incoming funds from your PSP(s) and applies your split instructions so that each seller and the marketplace receive the correct share.

Financial Management

Nuvei helps reconcile refunds, chargebacks, and other financial movements between the marketplace, sellers, and customers. You can manage balances, fees, and corrections, and access detailed reporting and invoices.

Billing and Funding

Nuvei generates marketplace and seller settlement reports, calculates fees and net payable amounts, and orchestrates payouts to sellers once they are fully onboarded and have a positive balance.
